Product Quality

At FARES, there is a real algorithm and it is a true science of working with herbs, which has been inherited and developed continuously for the last eight decades.

It is about a real quality cult, a cult of whole-hearted and well done work, but it also is about respect, respect for our customers, learned since the company started and continuing up to the present. In a word, professionalism.

Today, after a 1.5 million euro investment in upgrading (SAPARD co-financing), the entire manufacturing and control flux has been modernized and meets all the European Union’s requirements concerning the cultivation and processing of medicinal plants. Order reigns over every area of production or storage, it is as clean as in a pharmacy and each processing step takes place respecting clear procedures and rules. To ensure and guarantee high and constant quality of our products, we have implemented three quality systems:
- Through the quality management system ISO 9001:2008 (certified by TÜV Rheinland) we ensure a constant quality products, which we have self-imposed at high standards
- HACCP system ensures product safety in terms of the risks that may arise during the manufacturing process
- The quality assurance system in accordance with the GMP (certified by the National Medicine Agency) confirms the fact that technological lines on which we produce the tea are in accordance with the proper manufacturing practice for drugs

These systems are intended for product traceability, that is, its history, the road from the plant cultivated on the field until its delivery to you. Briefly, it aims to eliminate any risk for the final customer.
